Week 2 On track

Week 2
So it goes like this

Weight:  209.4
Lean mass 56.8
Body Fat 43.2
Blood Pressure 131/97
Pulse 84

So I am certain that I lost some weight as last week the scale at work said I weighed 212.

  212

- 209
      3

I thought I lost more, but math is not my strong point.  My lean mass also increased, which is good because that means I am growing more calorie burning muscle, and as a result my body fat decreased a tiny bit too.

How did I do it?
No I did not go to the gym everyday.  I would bet if I didn't write it in my blog I had planned on going everyday for 1 hour!!!!  Yeah that did not happen.  I didn't make it to the gym at all last week.  What I did do was walk for 20-30 minutes each day during my work lunch break.  I skipped on Friday, but hey it was Friday a girl needs a break!

And that was it, sorta.  I got my butt off the couch and moved most of the weekend.  I took my kids to build pinewood derby cars on Saturday   On Sunday, my oldest helped me work on the backyard garden.  We moved crazy heavy tires to the corner of our yard and filled them with compost.  I even think that qualifies for SuperMom status.

I also mowed the lawn because waist high weeds is not attractive, even if it is in the backyard and the neighbors can't see it.

That was it.  I didn't stop visiting the pantry for delicious snacks or suddenly loose my way to all the drive thrus in town.  I even ate greasy pizza from my kids favorite place, Peter Piper.

I still want instant results, but I will find out next week if I need to make other changes to keep the weight going down and the muscle growing.  I might even make it to the gym one day this week

Pamela, which diet you were on?
I followed your ADHD Mom facebook group but do not see any comments since October 17th. That is why I looked on your blog to see if you have been writing anything there. How are you doing now with your goals? I am another ADD/ADHD mom. It is me who has ADD not the child.
